Tailored!

In our initial blog the emphasis was on customer service.  It is what defines J3 and allows us to give our customers the best possible experience.  One of our biggest components of that service is our tailoring shop.  Often new customers ask if we have a tailor.  The answer is no we have 5!  Many of you know Roman who is our Head Tailor and does all the fittings.  Fitting a garment is a lot more technical and time consuming than you may think.  Your body type and posture are two of the main items considered when you are being fit.  This is why Roman spends much of his daily time in front of the mirror with our customers.  When he is not working with you in front of the mirror he is busy cutting and sewing in our 700 square foot tailor shop.  Roman has been with J3 since day one and was the only tailor at the time.  He was cooped up in a tiny room in the back of the store.  Our demand quickly outgrew that set up and about 3 years later the tailor shop was built and the staff was added.  Roman now has the daily support of Lucy, Fia, Anna and Mike.  They work feverishly behind the scenes to make sure your garments are perfect.  Whether they are recutting an entire suit, tailoring a jean or simply replacing a broken button on a shirt they are always busy!!  Depending on the garment and what needs to be done it may take anywhere from 15 minutes to 4 hours to tailor it.  We will not take any shortcuts and always do it the right way no matter how long it takes.  This is why we typically quote you around a 2 week lead time.  Once your garment is done being tailored it is pressed and ready to wear!

Our tailor shop and the hard work of those who work in it are what set us apart from the rest of the pack.  We are proud to say that our tailoring is second to none.  We truly believe that and back it up!  If you haven’t seen our tailor shop we would love to show you during your next visit….  In the meantime we will be sharing a sneak peak on our instagram in the coming days.
